Welcome to the Center

The Charlotte Children’s Center was established in 1984 by a group of local parents who recognized the growing need for high quality early childhood education programs in Charlotte and the surrounding area. Parents still play a major role in the Center acting as partners with the teachers and administrators to make sure that all policies and procedures keep the best interest of the child in mind. We are a play based center which means that we believe that children’s play is their work. And the role of the early childhood educator is to guide and enhance that play. We constantly strive to meet the highest standards for the early childhood profession.
